In complete honesty, this is a joyous occasion for African Americans and the Obamas. For African Americans to come this far and be able to hold the highest office in the land is great. I really wish it would have been a different African American though, but this is who the American people have chosen and I respect that. Barack Obama has the most liberal voting record of any other President, but it did not seem to matter, maybe because he ran on a centrist platform. As the Commander-in-Chief, I wish him the best of luck, and Congratulate him.
Obama's election reinforces what us Conservatives have been saying for some time about this country. ANYONE who puts their mind, soul, and hard work into accomplishing something in this country, can. People from all backgrounds, all races, and all economic situations can rise up and become anything they put their mind to. For some this mentality was just rhetoric. I hope that the election of the First African American President makes them aware that this is not just rhetoric, but a reality of life in this great country.
Do I fear what Obama and the Democrats might legislate and do in the next 2-4 years? I do, but I have faith that the American People will, through the election process, correct the problems that we might encounter. I do not believe that this is a far-left liberal country. I am a bit disturbed by the reelection of John Murtha though after all of what he said about his constituents.
So what do we conservatives do now? Michelle Malkin has a great post on that. And she states it so well, "We do not apologize for our beliefs. We do not re-brand them, re-form them, or relinquish them. We defend them." I believe part of the problem is that, we as conservatives, in the past 4 years have tried to appease people and apologize for our beliefs. There is no reason for us conservatives to ever stand down from our moral beliefs and values.
This is not me being gracious at defeat. I do appreciate the fact that an African American was elected, but that is where it stops. My values and morals will not be changed due to this, my conservative nature, and my opinion of which direction this country should go will still remain the same. There is a part of me that sees this as an opportunity for the true conservatives to reinforce our beliefs and filter out the liberals and pushovers that claim to share our ideals. There were many so called conservatives and Republicans who voted for Obama, I can only imagine because of his speaking ability. There is not an ounce of bipartisanship or conservatism in Obama's policies and stances, and any person who begs to differ must first remove the blinders and see him for what he really is, a far left radical, who can possibly run this country into a place it should not be. Begin countdown to voter's remorse...

Obama supporters running rampid with fraud...
If it was not enough for ACORN to be out their committing hundreds of thousands of voter fraud. A disabled man in Georgia was taken to vote, his aide would not let him vote for McCain, so she selected Obama against his wishes. Obama supporters also tried to get access into correctional facilities to get people to vote. There seems to be a pattern of criminal activity from Obama supporters.
Also, Obama has had a string of people coming out to support Obama. Recently, Fidel Castro found it necessary to endorse Obama for President, not once, but twice. A murdered on Death Row also endorsed Obama right before being given the lethal injection. I thought, too bad he won't be able to vote, but then I realized that with ACORN out there, he might actually still have a chance.

McCain needs help...
Someone please get him a defibrillator, he needs all the help he can get. During last night's debate, Sen. John McCain stopped short each time he had the chance to finish Obama off. Obama has yet to actually seal the deal himself, but McCain has had the chances to. There were so many untruths stated yesterday by Obama, and McCain never fired back on them. First off, the Secret Service has come out and stated that "Kill Him" was never yelled at any McCain or Palin rally. This seemed like a ploy by Obama to obtain some sympathy. There was also a moment in last night's debate when McCain stated that Obama told Joe the Plumber that he wanted to "spread the wealth." Obama was shaking his head when McCain brought up the fact that Obama wants to "spread the wealth around." It is what he told the Plumber, but now he was backing out of it as he has about everything else. (Go to minute 9:21 to see.) McCain could have hammered Obama on the fact that he sat on TWO boards with Ayers, and he could have furthered hammered the fact that his political career WAS started in Ayers' living room, which Obama lied boldly to the American people, this is after his campaign had already confirmed it. The ACORN ties were left loose, and Obama was able to refute those with lies. McCain could have brought up Jeremiah Wright, which he refuses to do, and I honestly am dumbfounded by why he would not. Obama's abortion record is clear, he is for Freedom of Choice. Freedom of Choice takes away ALL restrictions on abortions. Obama lied again about his votes while in the Illinois Senate, but McCain failed to deliver. Obama is for tax payer funded abortions, again McCain failed to deliver. This was the only opportunity that McCain had left to tell the American People, the media is not reporting this, but he failed. McCain should have also focused on Obama's inexperience.
I am unsure as to who is going to win, and quite honestly I do not think either of them are suited for the job. But one of them is going to be elected, and Obama has an extensive record, a repeated pattern, of bad judgement. It is either bad judgement that he has had in the past, because he continues to change his position and his past, or it is who he truly is. If he gets elected we will see a tremendous change in America, but it will not be the change Obama is promising. Obama won the Democratic nomination through his far left policies and ideology, but now he has been shifting to a more Populist ideology to obtain more votes. If he gets elected, I can guarantee that he will not keep the popular platform he has run on.

Socialists/Communists/Marxists for Obama...
While researching who backs Obama, I found a few interesting people. This country has it's own Communist and Socialist Parties, yet a large number of Socialists, Communists, and Marxists are backing Obama. Why? The Youth Communist League has backed Obama, the Chicago New Party and the Democratic Socialists of America have as well. You would think that with all of this news out Obama would try to separate himself from this, but on the Community Section of his website he has his own section for Socialist, Communists, and Marxists for Obama. It really is beyond me as to why people still support him when those are the likes that support him.
More voter fraud in Ohio...
Michelle Malkin has a great piece about more voter fraud going on in Ohio. It can be seen here. I wonder when the media will catch up with this story.

With Obama, the buck stops here (at $250K)....
If Obama becomes President, the American Dream becomes an audacious hope. Why? Because with Obama the American Dream stops at $249,999. Any income after that and you become a part of the rich, a part of the hated. What do they do to the hated, the rich? They tax them heavily, because your success is also your downfall. The rich (5%) already pay 95% of taxes, but Obama wants to give tax breaks to the other 95% even though 40% out of those 95% do not pay any taxes. I currently make less than 20% of that $250,000 threshold, but I am opposed to the idea of highly taxing those individuals. One day I hope to succeed to a point where I am making that amount or more, and my sweat and sacrifices will get me there. Why, after all of the sacrifices, should my wealth and success be redistributed? It should not. This country will suffer greatly with the redistribution of wealth. Robin Hood was a fairy tale for a reason. The reason this does not bother the Democrat Elite is because they do not make large sums of income, most of their money is inherited or was previously made. The Democrats needs the people to need them, otherwise their existence is pointless.
Obama has stumbled backwards again, and changed his mind on another position he is taking. Obama has now adopted Hillary Clinton's Economic Plan, yes, the one he called "disastrous." We will wait and see if the media decides to point out another one of his flip-flops. I highly doubt it.

Why people do not care if Obama is a Socialist...
Paul Kengor, of the American Thinker, has written a great article about Obama's socialist and communist associations and why it is not reported and ignored. This article is a well written explanation of why Obama has radical associations and supporters, and yet nobody seems to mind. When socialist and communist individuals and parties support a candidate, when the Black Panthers, ACORN, The Democratic Socialists of America, the Nation of Islam, and known terrorists are your biggest supporters, why does that not say something about the policies and ideology of that individual? I believe it says it all.

The liberals can really make me sick sometimes...
The Politico's Ben Smith has a blog out about Missouri Senator, and lib, Claire McCaskill. Last night she was interviewed by MSNBC following the debate. When it was Mitt Romney's turn to sit in her chair, her assistants helped her take off the wires, and as she handed Romney the earpiece she stated to Romney "I spit on this before I put it in," with a smile. Who disgusting must one be? Liberals can really make me sick.
Honestly...
The debate last night was horrible. It was boring, and really lacked substance. This debate was supposed to be one of the more lively ones, "A Townhall Debate with questions from real Americans." Is that so? Then why would they pick the same boring questions? The only points I found interesting were that Obama admitted he would sit with Mahmoud without preconditions, and that he will be raising taxes for some small businesses. I recall Clinton stating he would "lower taxes on the middle class" only to actually raise them when he was elected. McCain also wants the government to buy down bad loans, seriously? If we keep putting all of these expensive band-aids on the economy, it will really fall hard in a few years, and we will undoubtedly enter a long period of economic depression. There were no winners last night, and the real losers are the American People, especially those of us who wasted two hours of our lives on that debate.
On a separate note, AIG spent $440,000 on spa and hotel accommodations for their top employees AFTER they were bailed out. Where is the accountability? Where are the fiscal conservatives? Where are the Reagan Republicans? We need to stand up and take politicians out of Washington, and replace them with real Americans. Our Founding Fathers are turning in their graves as they see what this country has become. The further we stray from the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, the further we fall on the downward spiral that seems to be the future of this country.

Palin's Obama Comments
Sarah Palin came out strong, stating what we have all been wanting to hear, Obama's ties to radicals, and his dislike of America. The video can be seen here . But now, the liberal media has said that "Palin's words carry racial tinge." How? Sarah Palin is stating the truth, yet the media is playing the race card. I believe that most Americans have no issue with electing a black President, but I do believe that many Americans have a big problem with electing Obama. Why? A few names come to mind, names like Saul Alinsky, William Ayers, and Jeremiah Wright. The media is so in the tank that any mention of these individuals and they will result in playing the race card. It is a politics of fear. The liberals plan on making every American who does not support Obama, feel like a racist. It is appalling that they have to resort to this behavior.
Obama and the media have done a very good job at trying to sweep his past under the rug, and have even tried to censor those who have tried to speak about this. It is incredible to me how there are some that do not realize that Obama is a socialist, and how we can become the United Socialist-States of America. Obama was voted most liberal Senator, even while Bernie Sanders, a self described Socialist, served alongside him. Obama actually helped Bernie Sanders campaign for the Senate, and Sanders is not even a part of the Democratic Party, he is an independent Socialist from the state of Vermont.
Does the Obama campaign think Americans are stupid? I think that it is obvious. And I believe people will realize, if they have not already, that he is not the right direction for this country to go in.

The Housing Bill Passed which was approved by the Senate
With two candidates, one for so called "Change," and the other a supposed Maverick, I expected to see at least one them come out against this bill, but they both voted for it. It would have been a great time for McCain to have stepped up and said "This bill does not do anything for the American People, and quite honestly might not even fix the economy." Nobody is sure, but the free market COULD HAVE corrected itself, and if the House passes the bill, then I guess we will never know. Companies that still have Capital are acquiring other companies and growing, so the economy as a whole has not stopped, and nor will it. McCain has spoken out against earmarks and pork barrel spending, and Obama loved those two things until he announced he was running for President. In a way, Obama lives up to his, well, ears, when it comes to earmarks.
I skimmed through the entire 451 Bailout plan, which from my understanding started off at 3 pages some time last week. This bill will pretty much make the U.S. the biggest landlord in the world. The bill itself mentions that the Federal Government will, hold, control or own the mortgages. If they own the mortgage, then they pretty much own the house until it is paid off, this is scary. Within the contents of the bill were, some items which I honestly am not quite sure how they would help the economy. I have listed these interesting bits below:
-The FDIC Insurance does go up, this helps out the people more psychologically than anything else, but only through 12/31/2009. I thought the whole reason for the increase was to account for inflation since the coverage has been $100K since the 1970's.
-There are tons of Energy Tax Credits, but really nothing about drilling or our energy Independence, so it is just a waste of time and pages.
-They extended the FUTA Surtax for two years, this is a surtax that costs employers roughly $14 per year, per employee. Aren't we trying to create jobs here? (Sec. 404)
-The "Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund Tax" was increased, don't we have a "energy crisis?" They raised the tax by 3 cents per barrel through 2016, and 4 cents after that. I mean it is only pennies, but doesn't every penny count? (Sec. 405)
-The extended an Economic Development Credit for American Samoa. I don't even know what to say. (Sec. 309)
-They extended the tax credit for mine rescue team training and the election to expense advanced mine safety equipment. I am all for safety, but why is this inserted into this bill? (Sec. 310 &311)
-There is a section on railroad track maintenance which is not too specific, but again I have no idea why this is in this bill. (Sec. 316)
Now it starts to get interesting:
-Seven year cost recovery period for motorsports racing track facility. Seriously? Someone decided they had to appeal to their Nascar fan constituents? (Sec. 317)
-(By far my favorite) Extension and Modification of Duty Suspension on Wool Products, and Wool Duty Refunds. This also helps the Wool Research Trust Fund. This one is priceless. I was not aware that wool products and their research had a trust fund. Everyone run and get your wool sweaters, now Duty Free! (Sec. 325)
-I wonder which party put this in the bill? (Please note the sarcasm) They have tax deductions for film and television productions. I did not know that liberal hollywood and the media was hurting. (Sec. 502)
-Another good one. There is an excise tax exemption, and this is how it is worded, "for certain wooden arrows designed for use by children." This applies to the shaft only, and they cannot be larger than 5/16 of inch in diameter. (Sec. 503)
-There is also a section regarding taxpayers who receive qualified settlements from the Exxon Valdez oil spill. It states that when they pay taxes, the income source "shall be treated as engaged in a fishing business." (Sec. 504)
-There are 57 pages on Natural Disaster Relief and funding for Special Projects on Federal Land, which honestly I did not read because, again it was 451 pages.
-The last item I noticed bothered me, it was 34 pages, these 34 pages were titled the "Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008." I see the importance of a bill like this (Relating more to the mental health than to the addiction aspect of it). According to this insertion into the bailout plan, health care insurances must treat mental health and addictions equal to regular medical care. They cannot make payments higher and cannot offer stricter treatment limitations than to ordinary medical coverage. This does not belong in this bill, this is something that they knew would not be passed on it's own, therefore they shoved it into the bailout. So health care costs will now rise, because of addicts, that is how I see it.
We were in such "dire need" to pass this bill quickly otherwise we would go into a depression, this according to Congress and the President. Well they have taken a week longer than expected and nothing, we are still here. The bill passed the Senate, and the Dow is still down close to 300 points. Both Republicans and Democrats are wrong on passing this bill, and the pork shoved into it goes to show you, that maybe these are the wrong people to oversee and control the economy. These are the same people who got us into this mess. Chris Dodd and Barnie Frank are front and center on this bailout, yet they were the two leading the economy on this downward spiral. How can we expect THEM to fix this?
Update: I guess I missed one earlier, there is also a tax brake for people who ride their bicycles to work.

Bailout
The bailout as it stood was not acceptable. It was filled with items that taxpayers should not foot the bill for. The President is wrong on this, after all though, he has not been fiscally conservative. This is a typical Democrat bill, which they along with the Democrat Henry Paulson, who should resign, crafted. The democrats did not allow the Republicans any input on this bill, yet they expected the Republicans to vote for it. The American people did not agree with that bailout, and that is why the House voted the way it did. Barney Frank though, the same Barney Frank in this blog's video heard saying that Fannie and Freddie did not have any problems, is blaming the Republicans and Nancy Pelosi is praising him. Well let us look at how the House voted: The vote ended with 205 in favor, and 228 oppose to the bill, 140 Democrats and 65 Republicans voted for the bill, 95 Democrats and 133 Republicans voted against it. Why are they not blaming the Democrats? Their own party, they could have single handily passed this bill, but they did not. Nancy Pelosi told 16 Freshman Democrats that they could vote against it in order to not risk their reelection. You see with the Democrats, it is all about power, they could care less about you or I. The Democrats put us in this mess, and were unable to get THEIR bill passed, and they blame us for everything.

Great Ol' Alcee Hastings
Again, another Democrat is trying to play the race card, as if the Obama campaign has not done it enough. Why can't someone not support Obama due to the fact that he is an appeaser like Arthur N. Chamberlain, or because he is the most Socialist Democratic candidate after. Well Alcee Hastings, the Florida Democratic Congressman and Black Caucus leader, said the following yesterday:
"If Sarah Palin isn't enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention," said Hastings. "Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through."
This is the same Alcee Hastings who as a Federal Judge was impeached, one of only 6 that have ever been impeached, for perjury and corruption charges. Well Democrats elected him to Congress, and now he decides to put his two cents in.
Why would the Jewish people listen to him? This is the same Alcee Hastings who associates with Louis Farrakhan, the known anti-Semitic leader of the Nation of Islam. Obama has also associated with Farrakhan and served on boards with him. And this is the same Obama who would sit with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to hold peaceful talks.
Update: I urge people to call his office and let them know who disturbing and unacceptable his comments are: Tel: (202) 225-1313
9/30 Update:Alcee Hastings apologized, well not really, he just realized he said something stupid that he does not regret saying. Here are his statements: "I regret the comments I made last Tuesday that were not smart and certainly not relevant to hunters or sportsmen,"
"The point I made, and will continue to make, is that the policies and priorities of a McCain-Palin administration would be anathema to most African Americans and Jews,"
"I regret that I was not clearer and apologize to Governor Palin, my host where I was speaking, and those who my comments may have offended."

Fannie, Freddie, Rick Davis and Franklin Raines
The New York Times published an article stating that a company owned in part by Rick Davis, the Campaign Manager for the McCain Campaign received $15,000 a month since late 2005 from Freddie Mac. What is interesting is that Rick Davis has not received any compensation from his company, or profit sharing or any other sort of compensation from that company since he took a leave of absence in 2006. He never had any part in the lobbying work that was done for Freddie Mac, and furthermore he has not done ANY lobbying work since 2005.
What bothers me is that the New York Times published this article, yet I do not see any article about the two Obama Economic Advisers, Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson. Now that the FBI is investigating Freddie, Fannie, Lehman and AIG, it will come out that Fannie and Freddie cooked their books, as was already found in a previous investigation. This was done when when Franklin Raines was Chairman and CEO of Fannie Mae. Franklin Raines received over $90 million in compensation for the six year period that he held these positions. Raines quickly walked away from Fannie, knowing that Fannie was on its way down. Obama no disputes the fact that Raines is a financial adviser, despite the fact that Raines and Obama were both quoted in the past as it being true. Jim Johnson is not only an advisor to Obama, but also was part of his Vice Presidential selection committee. Jim Johnson was a managing director at Lehman Brothers (Bankrupt), CEO of Fannie Mae (now in government control), was a board member of Goldman Sachs (Almost bankrupt), and received illegal loans from Countrywide (Bought out, but for pennies on the dollar due to it almost being bankrupt).
These are the people that are advising Obama, and his supporters actually believe that he has better economic policies than McCain. The media will not report these stories, but it is up to the public to ask the questions. I might sound ignorant, but I believe the people of the U.S. are smart enough to realize what is going on.

Email Hackers, Big Government and Other Things Occurring This Week...
This week has been hectic and filled with news.
Over the last two days the stock markets, on a global level, have tanked, and the U.S. Government has unfortunately grown. As if the Government of this great country was not already too large for a free democratic society with Capitalist free markets, the government stepped in to bail out AIG. Many people are saying that it was necessary, but it is tax payer dollars going to that, and the government taking over private assets is not really a part of the Conservative mind set. A few weeks back the government took over the horribly run Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, organizations that were run into the ground by liberals.
Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson both ran Fannie and Freddie, and guess where they are? They are Economic Advisers for The Messiah, Barry Obama. These gentlemen, I say that loosely, were compensated heavily, and a lot of it was not disclosed. Yet the Democrats have tried to blame all of this on President Bush. President Bush has not been involved, and it was the Clinton Administration, in 1994, that relaxed the standards so that any individual would qualify for a house. Obviously, the people who took out these loans are just as responsible.
John McCain actually tried to stop this mess from occurring in 2006 when he cosponsored Bill S. 190 saying the following: "Fannie Mae’s regulator reported that the company’s quarterly reports of profit growth over the past few years were “illusions deliberately and systematically created” by the company’s senior management, which resulted in a $10.6 billion accounting scandal.
The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight’s report goes on to say that Fannie Mae employees deliberately and intentionally manipulated financial reports to hit earnings targets in order to trigger bonuses for senior executives. In the case of Franklin Raines, Fannie Mae’s former chief executive officer, OFHEO’s report shows that over half of Mr. Raines’ compensation for the 6 years through 2003 was directly tied to meeting earnings targets. The report of financial misconduct at Fannie Mae echoes the deeply troubling $5 billion profit restatement at Freddie Mac.
The OFHEO report also states that Fannie Mae used its political power to lobby Congress in an effort to interfere with the regulator’s examination of the company’s accounting problems. This report comes some weeks after Freddie Mac paid a record $3.8 million fine in a settlement with the Federal Election Commission and restated lobbying disclosure reports from 2004 to 2005. These are entities that have demonstrated over and over again that they are deeply in need of reform.
For years I have been concerned about the regulatory structure that governs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac–known as Government-sponsored entities or GSEs–and the sheer magnitude of these companies and the role they play in the housing market. OFHEO’s report this week does nothing to ease these concerns. In fact, the report does quite the contrary. OFHEO’s report solidifies my view that the GSEs need to be reformed without delay.
I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole.
I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislature."
Furthermore, according to http://www.opensecrets.org/ (http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2008/09/update-fannie-mae-and-freddie.html ), a web site that lists donor information it seems the Democrats are very popular with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac employees and Political Action Committees. Open Secrets conducted a search, and for the period of 1989 through 2008, Democrats had received the largest amount of donations from those employed by the now government run entities, but which ones you might ask? Chris Dodd received the most amount of money, he has been in office for the entire 20 year period. The next one might surprise you, but really only if you are ignorant, Barack "The Oracle" Obama received the second most amount. If that is not shocking enough despite his claims of being against lobbyist and all the other lies that spew from his mouth, he was only in the U.S. Senate for two years of the 20 year period that was examined. In third place was another Democratic Presidential Candidate (Former), John Kerry, and Hillary came in 12th, although she has only been in office for 7 of the 20 years. Now I know you are interested in knowing where McCain was on the list. John McCain, although he has served during the entire 20 year period, came in 62nd place.
On another note, Governor Sarah Palin's email was hacked, and the Secret Service is now investigating the incident. The Liberals do whatever they want to, and feel like they should be able to get away with it. On the other hand, us Conservative are scrutinized for everything we do. The shocker here is that the investigation has been derailed a bit by the AP, who refused to cooperate with the Secret Service. How would have thought that the media would not want to cooperate on this, let alone report it.
Dr. Ron Paul, who I support and agree with very much, has this sign on his desk. I think it is too priceless to not post:

Desperate for Attention
Down in the polls and desperately seeking the attention the Obama camp is used to receiving from the media, Barack's tongue slips, because isn't there no such thing as bad publicity? Actually, in a Presidential race, I believe there is. At first I looked at the comment and automatically knew it was a jab, but then I decided to step back and really analyze it, could it really just be a figure of speech? It could have been, but I can almost guarantee you that it was not.
Before B. Husein Obama decided to use the "Pig in Lipstick" analogy at his Virginia speech, his campaign had already used it, and it was while referring to Sarah Palin. A Democratic Congressman, Ross Carnahan, was introducing Joe Biden earlier that day at a campaign speech, while commenting about her record, Carnahan said “There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick.” It is obvious that the lipstick was becoming a part of the democrats' talking points, only a week after Sarah Palin gave her "Pitbull in Lipstick" speech. The Democrats are desperate to receive the attention that they are accustomed to, but Sarah Palin is stealing the spotlight, and there is no way they are going to let her do that. The McCain camp received a huge bounce from the convention, as oppose to Obama's 1 point hop. They are angry, because they own the media, there is no way that someone else should have so much coverage, let alone be ahead. The Democrats, now have become desperate and will become more and more hostile and insulting. After all, it is their innate behavior.
The Obama camp has come back at the request of the McCain campaign for an apology by stating that it was an analogy about their use of the word "Change." They have also said that the McCain camp is playing the "gender card." I was at a loss of words after having heard that, I mean isn't part of the Obama campaign mantra playing the race card? His delivery, (Obama's speeches are getting worse and worse and his anger is making him less than eloquent), was that of a joke, he paused for the punchline and all. Unfortunately when Obama does not have a teleprompter he loses the ability to speak as well as usual, and he also loses his comedic timing. Aside from having trying to deliver it as a joke, he followed it up with another analogy, one about an "old fish" and how it still smells if you wrap it in paper. Now isn't McCain's "old" age another talking point of the Obama campaign? Two bad analogies, now the democrats are much wiser and planned that that. They would never put those out there unless it was on purpose.
My theory is that Obama lost a lot of his base when he started practicing the politics of old, the politics he said he was not a part of. Now, he is trying to reach back at that base, the liberal fringe, by taking cheap subtle shots at the McCain camp. America, fortunately, is too wise to fall for any of his cheap tricks.

Friday Shorts
I'll keep this posting short, as there is a hurricane looming upon us in South Florida, and heck, it is Friday.
Liberal environmentalist wackos should be going insane at Obama, at 47 years old he has wasted more trees with his two arrogant memoirs while really not conveying any real message. That is other than, he smoked marijuana and did cocaine. His quotes from Jeremiah Wright degrading white people in his sermons, he loved those sermons so much that he titled his book, "The Audacity of Hope," after one such sermon. This pompous man, who feels so self entitled that he had to speak about himself in not one, but two books (with a third on the way might I add), before having done anything. In 1995, Obama published Dreams from my Father, this was before even being on the Illinois State Senate. How many Community Organizers publish autobiographies? Then after being in the U.S. Senate for about a year, he decided it was time to gloat again. I will leave you with some lovely (disturbing) quotes from his books:
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."-Dreams from my Father (Introduction page xv)
"There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."-Dreams from my Father (Page 142)
There are a lot more, but I refuse to dumb myself down by reading his mindless blabber.

This just in
Obama and Biden stated this morning that, if elected, they will pursue war crime charges against President Bush. This is astonishing, not only has President Bush not committed any war crimes, but Joe Biden voted for the war, so unless he wants to include himself and the rest of the Democrats that voted for the war, I see this as a joke. If you have a second go on You Tube and type in the key words "democrat, Iraq" to see a video which quotes a large amount of high power democrats stating why we should go into Iraq. As always, the Democrats find a way to stumble over their long forked tongues...
Update: I just read an article that stated that 125 were shot and killed over the summer in Obama's home city of Chicago. That is twice the number of soldiers that were killed in Iraq over the same time period. Maybe Obama should try and put Hope and Change into his city. It shows he has not done much for the people who elected him into the State Senate, and the U.S. Senate, let alone the "community" he "organized."

VP Sarah Palin
Governor Sarah Palin's speech last night was impressive to say the least. The media has already reacted, and unable to let the story of 17 year old Bristol Palin go, they have decided to continue to use it as their daily talking point. Commentary of Palin's speech, by the liberals and left wing media have stated that she did not say anything specific regarding the economy and "did not mention the words middle class once," as Joe Biden said on this morning's Good Morning America. Maybe the left wing has not realized that this country does have a large middle class, but it is not the only class, so why try to pander, as they do, to only a specific economic group. It was not Sarah Palin's job to describe the economy, her speech was an introduction of herself to America. John McCain's speech tonight will touch base with every stance that his campaign has, including the economy. Another talking point the democrats refuse to let go is the view that this is another eight years of Bush, which in reality is a complete and utter lie, but they are trying to drill it into the skulls of the entire nation, although it is the only type of drilling they are willing to do. Palin's speech has been called fear mongering and mean, I guess the democrats are the only ones allowed to take shots, whether moral or not, at us conservatives. Her speech was a breath of fresh air. She took a stance, and I think the American people appreciate someone finally coming out and saying it like it is and going after the media. America is waking up and realizing that the media does not have the same morals and objectives as they do, and this will hurt the democrats. The Democrats must realize that once the United States notices that the media has been their puppet this entire time, and trying to push liberal views down their throats on a daily, and on cable news networks like MSNBC and CNN hourly, it is going to be looked at in a negative way and it will ultimately back fire. On a brighter note, although it will not be mentioned much in the news, half way through her speech Sarah Palin's teleprompter failed, but she kept going, and delivered an impromptu, incredible speech. I remember when Obama's teleprompter failed and he was left stuttering and speechless until the problem was fixed, demonstrating that in fact he was just an empty suit.
